Hunted whitetails in Linn County, Iowa, last night, as part of our late muzzleloader season. No deer movement until right at legal shooting time, then saw group of seven (7) and group of 19 while leaving property. Snow all but gone, thanks to temperatures in the high 40s/low 50s late last week, along with rain. Headed out again this evening – scattered clouds, 32 degrees, and a light SW wind. Not the best wind for this property, but will hunt it regardless. Buddy killed a nice doe in Iowa County last night. Season runs through 9 January 2011
