Swamp People Star Dies While Loading Boat

Swamp People is History Channel’s reality show that tracks the lives of alligator hunters in Louisiana, and it has lost one of its stars.

Mitchell Guist was loading his boat on Monday morning in St. Martin Parish when he suffered a seizure and collapsed. Along with his brother, Glenn, the Guists entertained audiences with their redneck antics and death-defying gator wrestling.

There will be an autopsy completed on Guist to determine the actual cause of death. The show has plenty of other swamp people to keep it going, but they will certainly miss Guist. –Brian McClintock
