Heron Grabs Gosling for Lunch in London

Herons are vicious predators, as this mallard can tell you, and we’re not so sure a gosling was able to escape the clutches of a hungry heron.

A Getty Images photographer was able to snap some startling images of a heron gobbling down a gosling that must have gotten away from its protective mother in Serpentine Lake in Hyde Park, London, England. If the heron did finish this baby goose off, the photographer didn’t share that image.
