You wouldn’t think that a coyote would be able to scare off a mountain lion, but that’s just what happened in Whiting Ranch Wilderness Park in southern California.
Robert Meyer was hiking in the Orange County park when he captured this video. The park had just reopened after a 2-year-old mountain lion was spotted on July 7. It’s pretty rare to see this footage, and awesome that a hiker was there to share the scene with us. –Brian McClintock
