American Ellison Out of Olympic Men’s Archery Individuals

At the Lord’s Cricket Grounds right now, the women’s and men’s archery individual competitions are taking place, and the top ranked American has fallen.

Brady Ellison, whom many thought would be in contention for an individual medal, lost 7-1 against Australia’s Taylor Worth. Ellison had a tough time honing in on the nine and 10 rings, and Worth was too tough. Ellison was instrumental in getting Team USA to the gold medal match for the team competition, and the silver medal that they will be taking home.

Ellison’s teammate Jake Kaminski is still alive, so we still have a medal shot in individuals.

Great work Brady, and hopefully you’ll celebrate with a stellar hunting season this fall.  –Brian McClintock
