Second Amendment Advocates Sue New York City and Mayor Michael Bloomberg

Second Amendment Advocates Sue New York City and Mayor Michael Bloomberg by GoHUNTn TeamNew York City is known for being notoriously unfriendly for gun owners, but the Second Amendment Foundation is trying to ease the burden of having a handgun in your home.
The SAF is suing Mayor Michael Bloomberg over the $340 price tag that the Big Apple puts on the permit needed to have a pistol in your home. The Foundation is claims that the fee is only used as a deterent, and that it "excessive and impermissibly burdens the Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms."

In the rest of New York state, this permit costs $10.

Sounds like they have a case to me.
