Minnesota Moose on the Decline. Hunt Permits Cut in Half

Minnesota Moose on the Decline. Hunt Permits Cut in Half by GoHUNTn TeamAs with every wildlife decline, scientists don't know why, but moose numbers are dwindling in Minnesota, and that's leading to fewer hunting permits in 2011.

Numbers were down 11 percent from 2009 to 2010 with less than 5,000 moose left in the state. Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, in turn, cut the number of permits down to 105 bull moose permits.
