The Broxton Bridge Plantation was set to have a pigeon shoot on their South Carolina property on a Sunday. That didn't make the people being the animal right's group Showing Animals Respect and Kindness, or SHARK, very happy.
The group decided to send a small Mikrokopter drone to the Ehrhardt plantation to capture the shoot on video.
Instead of having an animal rights battle, the group decided to cancel the hunt. And while the hunters were driving away, the group decided to send the drone up anyway. And then shots rang out.
According to Steve Hindi, president of SHARK, they took aim at the drone with a small caliber gun, eventually shooting it down. The Times and Democrat has video of the drone getting shot on their website. Hindi is seeking charges against the person who shot the drone down. I'm guessing there won't be a lot of people talking at the Broxton Bridge Plantation. –Brian McClintock
