President of California Fish and Game Commission Coming Under Fire for Being a Hunter?

President of California Fish and Game Commission Coming Under Fire for Being a Hunter? by GoHUNTn TeamDan Richards has been president of the California Fish and Game Commission for four years, but animal rights activists want him ousted after an Idaho mountain lion hunting trip.
Groups like the Humane Society are actively campaigning to remove Richards from office after a picture of him after a successful mountain lion hunt surfaced on Facebook. The hunt was 100 percent legal, but the Humane Society is saying that he's destroying wildlife.

Why they're surprised that the President of the CFGC would be a hunter does not make sense to me. If I were a California wildlife enthusiast, I would be thrilled to know the guy in charge has some boots-on-the-ground knowledge. –Brian McClintock
