A Zimbabwe elder has had his "manhood" eaten by a crocodile while trying to cross the Chivake River.
Jonah Maturure, 70, needed to cross the river to sell a box of tomatoes in a neighboring village. Before getting into the water he took off his pants because he did not want to get them wet.
When he was chest deep in the water balancing the box of tomatoes over his head, a crocodile attacked him and took a chunk out of his buttocks off before ferociously biting off his testicles and most of his "manhood."
Jonah was able to escape by throwing the box of tomatoes away from him making a big splash that distracted the animal's attention. Bleeding, he managed to get to shore and was eventually taken to a nearby hospital. -Robert Frawley
