Last Chance to Legalize Sunday Hunting in Virginia Voted Down

Last Chance to Legalize Sunday Hunting in Virginia Voted Down by GoHUNTn TeamIt will be another year without Sunday hunting in the commonwealth of Virginia.
After the Virginia House of Delegates threw out three bills that had been passed by the Virginia Senate earlier this month, they did the same thing to the last piece of legislature that would have permitted hunters to hunt on Sundays, but only on private land with the landowner's written consent, was voted down 4-3.

While there has been an increase in support for Sunday Hunting, the chair of the Agriculture, Chesapeake and Natural Resources committee, R.L. Ware, is against the issue. Ware has successfully seen four bills to legalize the practice killed in his committee.

Let's hope we have some better luck next year. –Brian McClintock
