Two Geese Survive Being Shot with an Arrow in Separate Incidents in England and Washington State

It's the same headline with only the locations changed.
Two Canada geese were shot with arrows, only to survive.

The first story comes form the Tacoma News Tribune. A goose was shot through its mid-section. When wildlife rescue officials tried to the goose, it flew away, evading its rescue.

The goose in England had some better luck. It was shot in the back with a crossbow in Black County. Vets were able to remove the arrow, and the goose is expected to make a full recovery. –Brian McClintock
