According to Outdoorlife.com, third time's a charm for this hunter.
Back in 2009, Corey Bailey of Kansas spotted this 11-point buck on his trail cam and waited to see him during hunting season, but it never happened that season. In 2010, when he returned to the same area, but it was another no-show.
But Bailey couldn't get the buck out of his head, so he decided to return to the area for another go. After searching, the buck and Bailey crossed paths, the buck ran straight at Bailey, but Bailey was too quick for the deer and hit it with an arrow. The trophy weighed in at 288 pounds with an unofficial score of 183 5/8 inches, and well worth the wait. -Robert Frawley
