West Hollywood Becomes First City to Ban the Sale of Fur

West Hollywood Becomes First City to Ban the Sale of Fur by GoHUNTn TeamWell, the trappers and fur-takers of Los Angeles have one less place to peddel their goods.
According to Today.com, West Hollywood became the first city to ban the sale of fur within their city limits. In a move that surely enraged many fur-loving housewives and sent them fleeing to Rodeo Drive, the city's new ordinance was passed unanimously, though not all retailers are happy about the move.

The city also set a double standard in only banning full fur articles of clothing. Leather, furniture and fur-decorated accessories are all still allowed to grace the shelves in West Hollywood.

One more reason not to live in Los Angeles. –Brian McClintock
