200-Class Mule Deer Bagged by Pro Skier in Colorado

When a competitive skier, his friend and a mountain biker meet in the mule deer woods, it can only mean one heck of a hunting story.
Our friends at Field & Stream have just that. Drew Rouse, a professional skier who's had some bad crashes and injuries, was hunting elk when he couldn't hike anymore. He ended up coming upon a monster, in-velvet mule deer that is expected to land in the top 5 biggest bucks ever for SCI and the top 20 for Pope & Young.

After losing the blood trail, a friend came by on the mountain bike path, and Rouse employed his help, and the cyclist spotted the muley.

Check out Field & Stream for the entire awesome story. –Brian McClintock
