And here's the first potential world record of this short hunting season.
According to Field&Stream, this non-typical Saskatchewan mule deer is estimated at scoring 294 to 295, and this is no Internet hoax. The impressive buck was taken by longtime cameraman to Jim Shockey and host of Live 2 Hunt Cody Robbins.
Robbins hasn't released anything official, but fellow Live 2 Hunt personality Kelsy Claypool announced on the news on the Live 2 Hunt Facebook group page.
The current record is Kenneth Plank's 274 7/8-inch buck taken in 1987 in Morgan County, Colorado.
Congratulations on an impressive buck, Cody, and we'll let you know when the official word is out. –Brian McClintock
