Michigan Legalizes Deer Baiting in the Lower Peninsula

Michigan Legalizes Deer Baiting in the Lower Peninsula by GoHUNTn TeamThere was talk about it early this year, and Michigan officials have voted to lift a 3-year ban on deer-baiting for the upcoming fall season in the Lower Peninsula.

Now, hunters will be permitted to leave as much as 2 gallons of bait within a 10-foot square radius starting October 1.

The baiting controversy is sure to rage on in Michigan until the start of the season.
